EditCrafted's image converter switches images between the most common web formats: PNG, JPG and WEBP. It's free, runs in your browser, and is built for everyday creator tasks like thumbnails, uploads, profile pictures and web pages.
Supported image conversions
- PNG → JPG. Flatten transparent areas to a white background and produce a smaller JPG.
- JPG → PNG. Move into a lossless format if you need to keep working on the image.
- WEBP → PNG. Convert modern WEBP images back to PNG when an editor or upload form doesn't accept WEBP.
When to use each format
PNG
Lossless and supports transparency. Best for logos, screenshots, UI mockups and any image where transparent areas matter.
JPG
Lossy and very compact. Best for photos, social posts and thumbnails where small file size matters more than pixel-perfect quality.
WEBP
A modern format that combines great compression with optional transparency. Excellent for web pages, but not every editor or upload form accepts it.

How to convert images
- Open the converter homepage.
- Pick a conversion: PNG → JPG, JPG → PNG or WEBP → PNG.
- Drop your image in the upload area (≤ 100 MB).
- Press Convert file and download the result.
Limits and privacy
